BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT & AI CONSULTING

Most operational problems cross boundaries. A reporting problem often starts with how information is collected. A marketing problem can come down to follow-up. We work across these areas so the solution fits the whole picture.
You don't need a finished plan or a shortlist of tools. Bring the problem: work that takes too long, information that's hard to find, inquiries that slip through, or a sense that AI should be helping by now.
● Understand
● Learn how the work happens today and what it depends on.
● Prioritize
● Weigh benefit, effort, and cost, then agree on a first step worth taking.
● Implement
● Configure, connect, or build the solution, and test it with real examples.
● Refine
● Measure what changed, adjust what isn't working, and keep improving.
Every engagement starts with a free conversation and a written scope. Pricing is agreed before work begins, and you decide at each step whether to continue.
Our founder, Brian Coutu, has spent more than 20 years helping organizations plan, run, and improve the systems they depend on: as the in-house lead responsible for keeping things working, as a consultant advising clients, and as the customer evaluating vendors. That perspective shapes how we work. A recommendation has to hold up in daily use, not just in a proposal.
No. Many conversations begin with “something isn’t working and I’m not sure why.” Identifying what's worth changing is part of the work.
No. AI is a major part of our practice, but many of the most valuable improvements are clearer processes, better reporting, or better use of tools you already own. We recommend AI only where it does the job well.
Small businesses and nonprofits are the organizations we were built to serve. Work is scoped to one area at a time so it stays manageable for your team and your budget.
We agree at the outset what information is involved, who can access it, and how it's handled. Where AI tools are used, we decide together what they can and can't see, and how their output is reviewed before anyone relies on it.
Cost depends on scope, which is why every engagement starts with a written scope and an agreed price. The initial conversation is free, and a Business Review is a bounded, fixed commitment.
We're independent and vendor-neutral. We don't resell software, so recommendations are based on what fits your organization.
